Wax recommendation
LX waxes are always a good choice as a training wax and for ski maintenance. However, if you want more race-like conditions, the HX wax is a good solution. The best way to maintain your skis is always with an ironing wax. But if you’re in a hurry, paste wax is also a sensible alternative.
We recommend the matching HX Wax as a base wax. You can then use the pastes or UHX blocks as a finish. Please note: Pastes are easier to work with. (Can be applied on site or at home the evening before) The UHX blocks should only be applied directly before the race. (Requires a Merino wool, a rotor axle and a drill) Tip for long runs and aggressive snow conditions: To protect the base even better, you can also opt for a suitable UHX Powder as a base wax.

For short distances, we recommend the appropriate HX Racewax as the 1st layer and the appropriate Finish Wax as the 2nd layer. Tip for the finish: UHX Liquo is usually the better choice for older types of snow. For new snow, we usually use the UHX blocks as a finish
For ski marathons and all other long distances, we recommend our UHX Distance Base as the first layer. The 2nd layer should then be the appropriate UHX Powder. Tip for the finish: UHX Liquo is usually the better choice for older types of snow. For fresh snow, we usually use the UHX Blocks as a finish
