HWK ski waxes develop from the collaboration of active competitive athletes, technicians and chemists. The main focus of the company HWK SKIWAX is the development and testing of ski waxes, as well as the various methods of application.
In our online store we carry professional ski waxes and accessories for alpine and Nordic skiing. You are also welcome to visit us in Ebbs and buy the ski waxes directly including advice from us.
Here on our website you will find up-to-date information about ski waxing, tips for the correct application and processing of ski waxes. In addition, we offer them a free ski wax APP, the HWK ski wax consultant and also suitable videos on ski wax processing.
Since the 2007/2008 season we are not only official supplier of the DSV, but also represented in the Austria Ski Pool. Up to 30 different national teams, including the ÖSV and DSV, have been relying on our ski wax in professional racing for years and have already achieved countless successes with HWK ski waxes!
HWK Kronbichler GmbH differs from other wax manufacturers not only in its production method (all waxes are made by hand to guarantee optimum and consistent quality), but also and above all in the countless ski wax testing procedures. In recent years, for example, we have worked intensively with the ÖSV and thus constantly optimized the ski waxes.
For HWK SKIWAX the past season was again very successful. In Alpine, Nordic and Biathlon World Cup races, many podium places were again achieved with HWK SKIWAX. In order to be able to continue to provide top results and top products, a lot of testing and work on new wax combinations was also carried out last year.
In the summer months, the material and the various waxes are tested on the glacier, as well as with the tribometer, which was developed by the University of Innsbruck. Here, highly efficient test series can be carried out on artificial snow.
Since the year 2014 you can find our new company building in Ebbs in Austria.
