For the Speed-disciplines, even better results can be achieved by using the HWK Highspeed Powder, even better results can be achieved.. These products are significantly more abrasion resistant and and can thus also at high speedssuper running performance to the finish.
We recommend the following products for disciplines such as Super-G and downhill:
- COLD (dry snow): LFW3
- MEDIUM (wet snow): LFW2 + HIGHSPEED Powder MIDDLE
- WARM (wet snow): ALPIN Racing Pro WARM + HIGHSPEED Powder WARM
How are fluor powders actually applied correctly and what is needed for this?
- Spread the powder evenly over the coating
- Then carefully vial or cork the powder. A fleece roller with approx. 1000 rpm or a hand cork is suitable for this purpose. Alternatively, the powder can be lightly melted with an iron beforehand and then fleeced or corked.
- Allow the wax to cool, after approx. 15min peel off the wax residues and brush out with the horsehair brush.
- Then brush out hard with the nylon brush and polish
- The last step is a light finishing with the polishing cloth
