The Skiroller is the perfect summer sports equipment for passionate cross-country skiers. The movements of roller skiing are similar to those of cross-country skiing and thus many different muscle groups can also be exercised while gliding over the asphalt.
Austria is a country with a great diversity of landscapes. Therefore, it is not surprising that Austria also has many different routes for roller skiing to offer.
The best routes in Austria are probably those that offer not only beautiful views, but also a good balance between hills and plains.
A super ski roller track and the perfect place for cross-country skiing lovers in summer is located in Ramsau am Dachstein. Here, on the Kulmberg, a 5.6 km long track has been specially developed for roller skiing. There you will find five different loops with varying lengths and difficulty levels – so there is guaranteed to be something for everyone.
But also in Seefeld in Tyrol, ski roller riders get their money’s worth. The route starts in the Seefeld World Cup Arena and then leads through the beautiful Mösertal valley. On the 3.6 km long and 3 m wide track probably everyone will find the optimal training opportunity.
Those who have not yet dared to ride a roller ski are also in the right place in Seefeld. Indeed, courses for beginners are offered there. In a small group or alone, you can learn how to use the roller ski from scratch.
