At HWK Skiwachs, we attach great importance to testing our products under a wide range of conditions in order to always offer our customers the best possible performance. In July, we carried out our second extensive wax test of the year – this time in the ski tunnel in Oberhof. Just a few weeks earlier, we had already been on the glacier in S\u00f6lden to put our waxes through their paces.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The first test run of the year took place on the glacier in S\u00f6lden, where the altitude and glacier conditions offered us perfect testing opportunities. The results in S\u00f6lden were extremely positive and gave us valuable insights into the performance of our waxes in natural winter conditions. This was an important step to ensure that our waxes can perform at top level again in the coming winter season.<\/p>\n\n

Building on the findings from S\u00f6lden, we have now carried out the next tests in the ski tunnel in Oberhof. The ski tunnel provides constant, controlled conditions that are ideal for validating the previously obtained data and carrying out further tests.<\/p>\n\n

With a wide range of skis carefully prepared with different waxes, we were able to test the glide, durability and overall performance of our products in the consistent conditions of the ski tunnel. It was particularly important for us to compare the results from S\u00f6lden and to see how our waxes behave under the different test conditions.<\/p>\n\n

The combination of natural and controlled test environments is crucial to ensure the versatility and reliability of our waxes. While the glacier in S\u00f6lden offered natural conditions, we were able to specifically test and optimize individual factors in the Oberhof ski tunnel.<\/p>\n\n

This dual testing strategy enables us to identify the best properties of our waxes and fine-tune them perfectly for the start of the season. Our continuity in testing also demonstrates our commitment to staying at the forefront of development and offering products that meet the highest standards.<\/p>\n\n

Our new waxes have been convincing both under natural conditions and in a controlled environment. This confirms that our products meet the needs of all winter sports enthusiasts, whether in competition or recreational sports.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
