HWK CHAIN COATING – Clean & efficient chain lubrication
HWK CHAIN COATING is an inorganic-based lubricant that does not contain any solvents and is therefore >80 % biodegradable. If the product is used correctly, it results in long-lasting chain lubrication, significantly less dirt and less wear on the chain and cassette. While the chain is always slightly damp with oily lubricants, HWK CHAIN COATING forms a dry lubricating film to which dirt hardly sticks – which leads to a noticeable reduction in wattage when riding, as the effort required is significantly reduced due to less friction.
Application:
Cleaning & first use: The chain and cassette should be free of grease and dry for the first application. New chains must also be thoroughly cleaned and degreased beforehand.
Apply HWK CHAIN COATING to the inside and outside of the chain and allow to dry.
After every “wet” ride, the chain and cassette should be briefly wiped with a cloth and then recoated with HWK CHAIN COATING.
